Jack and Martha McMullen founded Ohio Electric Control, Inc., in 1978.

Their dedication to quality products, timely delivery, fair prices, and great customer service has continued through three generations. Over the years, OEC has excelled across the controls industry, building for onsite, wastewater, and clean water applications, drip irrigation systems, and a diverse range of Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM) Control Systems. When it comes to the best in pump control panels, we’ve only just begun.

1978

Founded

OEC Founded

Jack & Martha McMullen found OEC and start production in the basement of their home. Their first order was 2,500 control panels for FE Myers. Jack built these panels with his three children and their spouses, who would come home on the weekends and build panels in the basement.

1998

Bob McMullen Becomes President

Jack & Martha's son, Bob, takes over the business.

2006

Family Business Grows

Bob's daughters Jennay and Leslie join the company.

2021

Acquisition

OEC Joins SJE Team

OEC was officially purchased by SJE Inc. on Dec. 1, 2021. By teaming up, both companies hope to increase growth and product offering available to customers.
